This sculpture was inspired by a lucid dream while camping at a primitive camp site in Big Bend National Park.  The dream involved a sculpture which seemed to be alive pulsing light and its function was to send and receive messages from one dimension to another.  The next morning I awoke to find mountain lion tracks twelve inches from the door of my tent.

The energy of this land is very powerful and mystical.  Every time I spend time in this area I come back with very out of this world ideas.

The concrete sculpture in the photo was taken during the processing stage.  Glass is embedded in the center of the waves and a beautiful agate is embedded in the center of the sculpted eye.  LED lighting is integrated as well and lights the glass and agate bringing the sculpture to life.
