A union of concrete and African mahogany harmonize to form the Marfa Consort Bench. This design was inspired by Donald Judd minimalism which is expressed through the durable craftsmanship of a concrete and wood medium. The shapes within the bench are a continuing theme in other sculptures and furniture pieces I have created. Each piece has a significant meaning to me based on sacred geometry and mathematical sequencing.
