Commissioned by the city of Leander, Texas for their Lakewood Park sculpture garden. The concept behind this functional art was to appear as though it had been struck by lighting and broken into two pieces. Cast red marbled stone.
Built in 2012 this is the second commercial piece we were commissioned to create for Marfa Contemporary. They were wanting to install by Chinati weekend, which is a contemporary art museum based upon the ideas of its founder, Donald Judd. The design for this commercial concrete furniture piece is from Elliot & Associates Architectural Firm out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Elliot Rand is a great guy and a talented architect. We enjoyed collaborating with him on this piece. I hope to work with more architects of his caliber in the future. Marfa really needed such an eye catching piece like this at their intersection. The overall feel of West Texas can be isolated and run down, so it felt great to be a part of a beautification process.
If you get a chance, stop by this wonderful building known outside by their sign as Marfa Contemporary. Place an order at Pizza Foundation, walk around the back to view the gallery while your pizza cooks. If needed there is also a rental car company next to the gallery that offers an inventory of time cars, to get you around West Texas.
Special thanks to the owner Chris Casi and architect Rand Elliot for involving us in your vision for Marfa Contemporary.
This train sculpture was created in memory of Gwynne Jamieson commissioned by the city of Alpine, Texas RailRoad Park Board. The train is one piece made entirely of concrete except the exhaust and light detail. It was designed to be interactive for children and adults to play on.

This piece was commissioned by Samuel Design Group in Santa Fe, NM. It is the entry center piece as you walk in to a beautiful adobe home with in a gated community just a few miles outside of Santa Fe. The marble top not shown in the picture tied the piece in perfectly to their great room. The clients were extremely happy and it really added to the beauty of this home.

This western creation was designed by Belle Peña and was built to go into The Saddle Club Bar & Grill in 2013. A truly unique piece that required skilled craftsmanship, which finally came to life after a month and a half.

Rio Bravo Ranch is located near the border of Mexico in Far West Texas where Alamito Creek and the Rio Grande converge. The clients commissioned us to create a concrete coffee table that represented the confluence of these two rivers. They also wanted their ranch brand integrated into the piece.
